Tricia Morosin

Tricia Morosin is a Lebanese-Australian actor, writer, producer and teacher. In 2006, Tricia completed a BA in Media & Cultural Studies (Macquarie University) and began working in corporate communications. She continued to train as an actor and performed in community theatre productions. She then completed voice over training with The Voice Booth, where she was awarded their ‘Star Performer’ scholarship. Tricia has since voiced many advertisements (brands include Telstra, Twitter, Taronga Zoo, Genea, Apatamil, NRMA and Westpac). After having her son in 2013, Tricia decided to follow her dreams and train full-time as an actor. She was accepted into Sydney Theatre School’s Diploma of Arts (Acting), where she trained in voice, acting, movement, screen acting, improvisation, dialect work and musical theatre. In 2016, Tricia graduated and took a sell-out group-devised comedy show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2017, Tricia released Season 1 of her award-winning web series ‘THIRTY’, which she writes, produces and acts in. Season 1 won ‘Best Dramedy’ at New York Webfest and was nominated for ‘Best Australian Drama’ at Melbourne Webfest. Season 2, released in 2021 won Best Dramedy at both New York and New Jersey Webfests and was selected for numerous other international webfests. Thirty is now streaming on Binge Network TV (US). Other acting credits include ‘Lillian’ in Season 2 of ‘The Secrets She Keeps’ (2022, Paramount Plus), ‘The Nurse’ in SheShakespeare’s production of Romeo & Juliet (2019), ‘Shylock’ in GradCo’s Q Theatre residency of ‘The Market Man’ (‘The Merchant of Venice’, 2019), as well as ‘Debbie’ in the Sydney Fringe black comedy, ‘Sandra to Register 2’ (2018). Tricia’s passionate about creating more diverse representations of women and Lebanese-Australians. She’s a proud member of the National Theatre’s ‘Playwrights of Parramatta’ program (2019) and an experienced Speech & Drama teacher (AMEB).
